Frequently asked questions
- How do I create flashcards?
- Click 'Add card', type a question and an answer, and repeat. When you're done, click 'Download CSV' to get a file you can import into Anki or Quizlet.
- Which apps can import the CSV?
- Any app that supports two-column CSV import — Anki, Quizlet, Mochi, Brainscape and SuperMemo all work.
- What delimiter does the CSV use?
- Tab-separated by default, which Anki expects. You can switch to comma or semicolon if your app prefers a different separator.
- Can I reorder my cards?
- Cards are exported in the order shown on screen. Remove and re-add a card to change its position.
- Is there a card limit?
- No fixed limit. The tool runs in your browser so the practical cap is your device's memory.
- Can I paste a list of questions all at once?
- Yes — use the bulk-import area: paste lines in 'question<tab>answer' format and all cards are created at once.
- Are my flashcards saved?
- No — everything lives in your browser tab. Export the CSV before closing the page.
- Can I edit cards after adding them?
- Yes. Click any card to edit its question or answer inline.
- Does it support images or rich text?
- The CSV export is plain text only. Anki supports HTML in CSV fields, so you can add simple markup if you need it.
- Is this tool free?
- Yes — free, no signup, no upload. Your flashcards never leave your device.
