Frequently asked questions
- How do I watermark a photo?
- Drop one or more images, type your watermark text (or upload a logo), pick a position and opacity, and click Add Watermark.
- Can I use a logo image instead of text?
- Yes. Upload a PNG (transparent backgrounds work best). It's placed at the position and size you choose, with adjustable opacity.
- Where can I place the watermark?
- Top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right, centre, or tiled (repeated diagonally) for the strongest protection.
- What opacity should I pick?
- 30–50% is a good balance — visible enough to deter copying without distracting from the image. Use 100% for explicit signatures and 10–20% for subtle watermarks.
- Can I batch-watermark many photos?
- Yes. Drop a folder and they all get the same watermark, downloadable individually or as a ZIP.
- Will image quality change?
- No. Photos are processed at full resolution and only the watermark is added on top.
- Will my photos be uploaded?
- No. The watermarking runs entirely in your browser — your photos stay on your device.
- Can the watermark be removed?
- A solid, opaque watermark across the centre is hard to remove without obvious damage. Tiled watermarks are the strongest deterrent.
- Does it work on mobile?
- Yes. The tool works in mobile Safari and Chrome.
- Is the watermark tool free?
- Yes. Free, no signup, no watermark from us.
