Frequently asked questions
- Is this a legally binding e-signature?
- It's a drawn signature embedded as an image — sufficient for everyday agreements (rental forms, internal approvals, NDAs in most countries). For digitally certified signatures with cryptographic proof of identity, use a service like DocuSign or Adobe Sign.
- Does my PDF get uploaded?
- No. Rendering, signing and saving all happen locally using pdf-lib and the canvas API. Open DevTools → Network and you'll see no requests fire while you sign.
- Can I add multiple signatures or initials?
- Yes — draw once, then drag the signature onto any page. Use the 'add another' button to draw a separate one (e.g. initials).
- Will the signature stay sharp when I print?
- Yes — your stroke is rasterised at high DPI to a transparent PNG, so it stays crisp at A4 print size.
- Can I delete or move a signature after placing?
- Yes — click any placed signature to select it, then drag, resize, or delete with the toolbar.
