Frequently asked questions
- How does the AI headline generator work?
- You paste your text or topic and pick a target audience. The model generates eight distinct headline options sized for that medium — blog titles, news headlines, LinkedIn hooks, YouTube titles or email subject lines.
- Why eight headlines?
- Enough variety to compare angles without overwhelming. Pick your favourite, mash two together, or re-run for another batch.
- What's the difference between the targets?
- Each target shifts length and style. News headlines are short and direct; YouTube titles use curiosity and benefit framing; LinkedIn favours a hook + insight format; email subjects are short and front-load the value.
- Will the headlines be clickbait?
- The model is instructed to write headlines that get clicked without being clickbait. They focus on a clear benefit or hook tied to the source — not on shock or false promise.
- Can it write headlines for ads or landing pages?
- Yes — pick the closest target (LinkedIn for B2B, blog for general, email for short copy) and re-run with a tighter input that includes your value proposition.
- What if I don't like any of them?
- Re-run for a fresh batch — the model is non-deterministic, so the second batch will be different. You can also tighten or expand your input to nudge the angle.
- Does it count characters for me?
- Not directly — pick the target that has a built-in length expectation. For email subject lines, aim for 50 characters or fewer; the model already targets short on that setting.
- Is my source text stored?
- No. Your text is processed in memory and forwarded to OpenAI. Nothing is written to disk on our side and OpenAI does not use the request for training.
- How long can the source text be?
- About 12,000 characters per request — plenty for an outline or a full draft article.
- Is the AI headline generator free?
- Yes. We cover the OpenAI API costs. Per-IP rate limits keep things sustainable for everyone.
