AI & Writing tools — Free Online AI & Writing Tools
Paraphrase, summarise, fix grammar, change tone, draft emails, brainstorm headlines, generate FAQs and improve prompts — plus a couple of pure-browser writing helpers.
Writing helpers powered by OpenAI — paraphrase, summarise, fix grammar, change tone, draft email replies, brainstorm headlines and FAQs, and tighten prompts. Two extras (bullet-point generator, readability checker) run 100% in your browser. The eight AI tools clearly mark when your text is sent to our server, which forwards it to OpenAI in memory.

Frequently asked questions
- Are the AI writing tools free?
- Yes — every tool on this page is free, no signup, and no daily limit beyond a small per-IP rate limit so the OpenAI bill stays sane.
- Where does my text go?
- For the eight AI tools (paraphrase, summarise, grammar, tone, email reply, headline, FAQ, prompt enhancer), your text is POSTed to our server, which forwards it to OpenAI's API in memory and returns the result. Nothing is written to disk and the request is not used for model training. The bullet-point generator and readability checker run entirely in your browser — your text never leaves your device.
- Should I paste secrets, passwords or private data?
- No. Treat the AI tools like any third-party service — don't paste credentials, API keys, personal IDs, or anything you wouldn't share publicly. The browser-only tools (bullets, readability) are safe for confidential text because nothing is uploaded.
- Which AI model do you use?
- OpenAI's latest GPT model via the official API. We don't expose the exact model name in the UI so we can transparently upgrade as better models ship.
- Is there a length limit on the input?
- Yes — about 12,000 characters per request (roughly 2,500 words) to keep responses fast and costs predictable. For longer documents, summarise in chunks.
